On a better note: Yesterday I was able to write an on demand VPN configuration profile for my Mac which mostly worked and once I’ve switched from a shared secret to certificate it will automatically launch the VPN if I am outside of my office or home wifi. Yay!

After waking up from sleep, my MacBook Pro 16" can't find its keyboard and trackpad for 10+ seconds. Great achievement Apple!

Damit dürften auch jegliche Blinker- und Gang-Hebel entfallen. Schön wäre, wenn sich der Scheibenwischer etwas filigraner einstellen lassen könnte. Ach ja, auch toll wäre, wenn ich in der Waschstraße den Neutralgang etwas weniger deppenhaft aktivieren könnte.

To turn autoplay on or off:

Sign In to Netflix from a web browser.

Select Manage Profiles from the menu.

Select the profile you’d like to update.

Check or uncheck the option to Autoplay previews while browsing on all devices.

Context menus are the key to a better multitasking system.

When you long-press an app icon in iOS and iPadOS 13, a context menu appears and provides various options. These menus, I believe, are the perfect home for multitasking controls.

Bislang eine der besten Lösungen, die aber leider auf dem schwer zu entdeckenden Long Press basiert.

Why were people using it? Why were there so many little circles?

honestly thought I could get away with not caring. After all, the best watch face on the device, the so-called Modular, is so useful and elegant. It tells you exactly what you need to know, offers a few simple complications, and stays out of your way. With Infograph, however, you realize that Apple misunderstands both horology and design and feels that some weird skeuomorphic fever dream can pass for a real watch face.

Der wird relativ schnell drankommen, weil andere Patienten auf Google Maps gerade sehen, dass bei diesem Arzt die Hölle los ist. Von einem Konkurrenten beauftragt, ist das eine prima geschäftsschädigende Strategie. Aufgepasst!
